Start of track season – 8 April 2019
Practice schedule 2 days a week – Monday & Thursday – 6 pm – 745 pm
Start of summer track season – 20 May 2019
Practice schedule 3 days a week – Monday, Thursday & Saturday – Weekdays: 6 pm – 745 pm
Saturday: 9 am – 1100 or there is a track meet
New Highland first 3 weeks – week of 8 April – week of 22 April
North Hardin next 3 weeks – week of 29 April – week of 13 May
Ages: 7 – 17
$300 – Summer season – consist of uniform 2-3 regular season meets & AAU State and Regional qualifying meets & JO’s – MS or HS athletes that compete for their schools prior to the start of the summer season. Summer season begins on 20 May 2019.
$315 – Full season starting 8 April – end of July – consist of 3 –4 regular season meets, Elementary state meet, opportunity for MS state meet & AAU state and regional qualifying meets & JO’s (athletes move on to qualifying meets or MS state meet based on qualifying prerequisites for that organization)
- Summer and full season consist of nutrition for meets, track suit, track sweats, meet cost, training and AAU membership
- The age that you will be by 31 December 2019 is the age that you will compete against throughout the season
Strength and core conditioning
6 weeks – week of 8 April – 13 May (total 9 hours of training)
Location: New Highland Elementary School (inside or outside facility)
Cost: $55 (current BM track member) $65 (non BM current track member)
Ages: 11-14 (Coach Butler) – Every Tuesday 6pm – 730
Ages: 7 – 10 (Coach Sonny) – Every Friday 6pm – 730
Please annotate on the registration if interested in only training to increase your child’s running, agility, strength, power and conditioning levels. The price will tailor due to the cost is an accumulation of all meets and necessities for the spring / summer track season.
Athletes who plan on competing in the AAU state meet in hopes of qualifying for the AAU Regional and National will continue to train after June 2019. First qualifying meet is expected to be 22June, expected Regionals the following weekend and the Nationals in North Carolina an entire week starting 27 July.
